Galaxy S10 Plus
Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus has been rated as the best
smartphone in the world by Consumer reports which is a non-profit organization
who does product reviews. Samsung Galaxy S10 and Samsung Galaxy S10e took the
number two and three spot respectively.
Most of the reviews on YouTube these days are beautiful
product shots under various lightings and camera angles. You don't normally see
them mentioning the objective pros and cons of a smartphone that they’re reviewing.
I can see why they don't focus on the negative stuff of a product simply
because they’re afraid they might lose out on sponsorships from these big
companies if they talk bad about their product. In a way, most of the tech
reviewers out there have basically become demo guys. So it's hard to believe
when a YouTube says that a particular handset is the best in the world because
they're maybe biased in some way or is saying it to please the sponsor but when
a nonprofit organization like consumer report says it then there's no reason you
shouldn’t believe it. They say the Galaxy
S10+ is the best smartphone in the world right now.
Consumer reports is an
organization that does an extensive scientific test before posting review of a
smartphone and the best part about them is they're a non-profit organization,
so they're not sponsored by any smartphone company and we can fully trust them
for a full non-biased review. They evaluate the smartphone in more than 250
quality and safety parameters like durability, battery life, functionality,
processor performance, sound quality and more.
They say the S10+ has the best
battery life they've ever tested. They use a robotic finger which is programmed
to perform tasks that mimic how an ordinary user would rely on it over the
course of the day, which browses the internet, snaps pictures, streams a video,
uses GPS navigation, enjoys a little quiet standby time, and, of course, makes
phone calls.
The test recorded 39.5 hours of battery life which is 8 hours more
than the previous number-one the Galaxy Note 9.To
test its durability, they dropped the phone 100 times in a rotating metal chamber.
Most of the times phones get shattered in this test but the S10+ came out of
this unscathed. I approve this, a few days ago my S10+ was accidentally got
dropped face first on a hard floor and absolutely nothing happened. So all hail
Gorilla Glass 6.
They've also praised
the back cameras on the S10+, they really liked the triple camera system but
weren't so pleased with the front camera especially with the booked effect. The
report also praises the display, the in-display fingerprint scanner, though
they said it’s little slow and the reverse wireless charging technology.
Overall, the Galaxy S10 Plus has been named as the best phone on the market
right now followed by the S10 and S10e at the number two and number 3 spots respectively.
Let me know your thoughts on this down in the comments and as always, I'll see
you tomorrow...peace out!
